CloudFlare, a company that helps web masters “supercharge” their site (and is based just a stone’s throw away from our SF headquarters), announced this morning at TechCrunch Disrupt NY the addition of an app store to its offering: CloudFlare Apps.
It’s going to be a very cool way for site owners that are using CloudFlare to deploy some of the web’s leading apps with just a few clicks (no code changes, updates or ongoing maintenance needed).

What has us excited is that VigLink will be the first app available when the store launches on June 1st. If you are a CloudFlare user and wondering how this will all work, here are the key details:
- The app’s feature set matches our core offering, it’s simply a different deployment option.
- Once deployed, VigLink will automatically track outbound clicks to eligible merchant sites, and secure a commission for you whenever a sale is made. Details on how this works can be found here.
- We’ll have full instructions on where to turn on the VigLink CloudFlare App on June 1st.
In the meantime, check out the press release if you’d like more detail on the partnership. If you aren’t familiar with CloudFlare, take a moment to check them out. Essentially they help protect and speed-up websites by pooling the knowledge of thousands of web masters.
Check out the video on their homepage for the 90 second explanation on how they “supercharge” websites.
