Last Thursday, we co-hosted the inaugural “That’s What She Said” blogging social and what an event it was!
We held it at the beautiful Ligne Roset and every attendee matched the glamour of the venue perfectly. The event had a wonderful set of sponsors who kept us delightfully fed and watered throughout the night. As we dined on crepes and drank Champagne, we heard from an extraordinary panel made up of the wonderful: Laura Compton, Style Editor at San Francisco Chronicle; Damaris Santos-Palmer, Editorial Producer, Bliss.com by Glam Media; Daniela Province, Freelance writer, Marketing & Editorial Strategist; Sinead Norenius- Founder – iFabbo and Beautisol. Who spoke about everything you could ever want to know about how to make a name for yourself in the blogging industry.
Here are my highlights of the advice shared
Image and video are the obvious future of blogging in the near term. Make sure you understand the SEO and content benefits. #TWSSSocial

Straight Q+A interviewing is boring; inspired *story telling* is the best approach to writing meaningful content: YES! #TWSSSocial

And my favorite photos of the night. The first unposed and featuring the organizing team at their “best” (sorry team)…
Second, the “Men of VigLink” looking dapper and doing our company proud by helping all sort of bloggers with their monetizing questions
I hope all who made the event, enjoyed it! We can’t wait to do it all again on March 13th. In the meantime you can see all the photos from the event here (please do tag yourself and anyone else you recognise looking chic) and you can keep up to date with all the “That’s What She Said” news via the Facebook community and Twitter.
