AdWeek has been working with Facebook to build exclusive infographics of trending topics on various platforms each month. Trends have been cut by demographic, topic and other attributes of interest (middle age men are talking about video games, the difference between buzz on Instagram and Facebook when it comes to celebrity deaths, and more). This month, the bizarre looking fruit Bhudda’s Hand (above) was among the trending topics, alongside cortados, educational entertainment, and other topics. Each of the topics covered have been identified by Facebook’s data team as long term trending topics that they expect to continue to see grow.
But Buddha’s Hand? Apparently popular with bartenders and mixologists. The data doesn’t lie.
