VigLink announced today that it has acquired the team and technology of Prosperent, a Denver-based company that helps publishers create content that drives sales to online retailers. The purchase enables VigLink to accelerate its mission to be the indispensable platform for content-driven commerce.
“We continue to see enormous demand for publisher and advertiser products that enable commerce” says Oliver Roup, founder and CEO of VigLink. “This acquisition will accelerate our execution and cements our leadership position. We are investing while our competition pivots away.”
Former Prosperent CEO Brian Lovett will be leading VigLink’s new applications team. Lovett expressed excitement over joining forces with VigLink: “Together we will build the technologies and platform to drive this industry forward.”
Prosperent’s services will continue uninterrupted, and the publisher networks will not merge.
