How to add VigLink in Google Tag Manager

As an alternative to installing VigLink into the head section of all of your pages, you can add VigLink as a tag in Google Tag Manager.

Find instructions in the settings of your dashboard: https://publishers.viglink.com/publisher/install/gtm

1.
Choose your Site.
2.
Copy this VigLink code to your clipboard.
3.
Select your account from Google Tag Manager home page and click New Tag.
4.
Click the box to choose a tag type to begin the setup and select Custom HTML as the Tag type.
5.
Insert the VigLink code from step 2 into the text box.
6.
Choose a Trigger to make the above tag fire.
7.
Select either All Pages on Page View or create a new trigger if this does not exist or you only want this tag to fire on select pages. If using an existing tag, skip to step 10.
8.
Click the box to choose a trigger type and select Page View from the list.
9.
Select either All Page Views or Some Page Views. If selecting Some Page Views, you can stop the loading of the VigLink code on select pages. Now click Save.
10.
Finally, on the main Tag page, name your newly created Tag and then press save.
11.
You’re done!
Check your installation to make sure VigLink is working on your blog.
