Content Tip #4: Keep banner ads to a minimum.

By the end of 2016, there were 615 million devices blocking ads, and that number is expected to continue rising. As the huge number suggests, most people don’t like banner ads. There are a number of different native solutions that are much less deterring to users, such as affiliate links. If you are going to use display ads, make sure they are not interfering with the content you work so hard to make original. There’s nothing worse than when a video pops up on the screen and starts playing at loud volume!
